Shoehorning swsusp2 into the Ubuntu 5.10 kernel

Ubuntu’s 5.10 kernel has suspend enabled, but that doesn’t work for everybody. Unfortunately the Ubuntu kernel has some patches in it, which makes applying the plain swsusp2 patch for 2.6.12 a little difficult. But don’t despair…

The Skype deb package from the official Skype.com Homepage ist built against the old libqt3, which has since then changed its name, so it gives problems when installing it, or when just upgrading the system.
